About your bag

Coterie leather bags have a distinctive and recognisable aesthetic; classic, yet with a contemporary edge. One of the most important things to me when I make a bag is the finish. I want every detail on every single piece I make to be as perfect as I can possibly make it, so I use this as the start of the design process itself; selecting the perfect piece of leather. I originally trained as a furniture designer and all my bags are made from remnant upholstery leather. Every piece of leather is unique, each and every hide hallmarked with its own character and qualities, scars and marks from the tanning process – a testament to the natural origin of the hide.
